After the unexpected defeat in Vinkovci against Vukovar, the bad news keeps coming for Dinamo.
Moris Valinčić he was unable to continue at half-time in the aforementioned defeat, and although an ankle sprain was initially suspected, the latest news suggests that injury more severe than expected.
According to Sportske novosti, additional searches confirmed fracture of the metatarsal bone of the right footdue to which the 22-year-old will be out of action for at least six weeks. After that comes rehabilitation and a return to full training, so it’s almost certain that we won’t see him until the end of the year.
Valinčić’s injury is a big problem for coach Marija Kovačević, since it is the only one classic right back in the composition. The 22-year-old right back recently received a call-up from Zlatko Dalić for the upcoming matches of the Croatian national team, so he will miss the opportunity for his possible debut in the Fire team.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that Luka Stojković complained of ankle pain after the game and will undergo additional tests on Wednesday. If a more serious injury is confirmed, Dinamo could find itself in a serious personnel problem ahead of the derby against Rijeka, which is played on All Saints’ Day.
Information says that Pierre-Gabriel is also out of action, which raises the question of who will step in on the right side of the defense. Young Noa Mikić is mentioned as a possible solution, who could get the opportunity to join the first team.
