The Prime Minister of Zenica-Doboj Canton and Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Mirza Mušija met today with the President of the Federation of Independent Unions of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Selvedin Tartorović at the Canton headquarters. During the meeting, a joint commitment to continuing social dialogue and concrete activities aimed at improving the status of employees whose salaries are paid from the Budget of the WWN.
Prime Minister Pivić pointed out that the Government in the past year and a few days and a few days of budget users, in some cases, especially when it comes to education and increasing the total incomes (including salaries) for more than 50 percent.
– Our policy is clear – social dialogue, stable public finance and investment in human resources. The Government remains committed to the principles of social justice, partnership with unions and continuous improvement of the working conditions and the lives of all public sector employees – said Prime Minister Pivić.
The President of the SSBiH Selvedin Tartorovic expressed satisfaction with the current cooperation with the Government of the ZDK, especially emphasizing the responsible approach and openness to address issues important for workers.
In this context, the payment of the annual leave fee – regresses for over 8,500 employees in education, police, public administration, as well as civil servants and employees in the judiciary. Regression payments is planned for 6. August, and the regress will be paid in the amount of 50 percent of the average net salary in the Federation of BiH, which according to the last published data is about 800 KM.
In the context of the recent statements of certain political entities in terms of technological surplus employees in education, Syndicist Selvedin Šatorović said that no worker in primary and secondary schools will end up at the Employment Service and will be adequately taken care of.
– That excessive concern should be shown when these political parties were performed by the power and when they had the opportunity to increase the salary for the better social and economic position of education, “TaTorović said.
