Prime Minister Nepal Sushila Karki appointed three new ministers, only a few days after the dissolution of parliament caused by deadly protests.
Karki, who became the first woman in the forefront of this Himalayan nation, appointed OM Prakash Aryala for the Minister of the Interior, Rameshwar Pair Khanal for Minister of Finance and Kulman Ghising for Minister Energy, Al Jazeera.
Aryal is a human rights lawyer who took over legal disputes of public interest, the former Secretary of Finance recently recommended great economic reforms, and ghising is a former head of state electricity that is attributed to solving the problem of land relief.
