At 42. Session of the Assembly of the Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Ninth Council, held 21.07.2025. Seven points were considered a previously established agenda.
Within the first two points of the Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton, it was established in the Procedure for the Making Federal Regulations and its opinion for the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Federal Draft Law on Employment and Social Security of Unemployed. Both opinions of the Canton Assembly were given respecting the previously given opinion of the line ministry, social policy and refugees of Zenica-Doboj Canton, as well as the opinions of the Assembly Commission for Work, Social Policy and Refugees and Health. Opinions established form an integral part of the Canton Assembly for both Federal Draft Laws, which will be submitted to the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, for further proceedings, in order to implement further prescribed procedures for adopting these regulations.
Within the third point of the agenda, the proposal of the Budget of Zenica-Doboj Canton was considered for 2025. year, and in the same total revenues amounted to 711,780,320 in Croatia, which are larger for 2025. Year. Within the next point of the agenda, the Assembly also brought the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Execution of the Budget of the Zenica-Dobo Canton for 2025. year by which the implementation of the budget amendment for 2025. Year are not possible.
Then the Assembly of the Zenica-Doboj Canton considers the Law on Amendments to the Law on the Procedure of the Nature Monument to the “Tajan”. Amendments to the law are the need to ensure the efficient and quality management of the protected area, and amendments to the Assembly of the Canton of Establishment of the New Public Institutions for Protected Areas in the Canton. In the existing law, the management of the Nature Monument is entrusted to JP SPD ZDK doo Zavidovići.
As part of the sixth point, decisions were made on verification of the Committee’s decisions for public recognitions of the Zenica-Dobo Canton on the awarding of public recognitions of Zenica – Doboj Canton. Two decisions on the Award of the Charter of Zenica-Doboj Canton and the promotion of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the Four Plaques of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and the Recognitions will be presented on the next 43. (Ceremonial) Session of the Canton Assembly, which will be held on the day of Zenica-Doboj Canton 29.08.2025. .
The honorary citizen of Zenica-Doboj Canton was declared Matthew Fieldand the Charter is awarded as a recognition for long-term work on strengthening international cooperation between the United Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina. During his term Ambassador, Bosnia and Herzegovina, he pointed out as a true friend of our country, cantons and his local communities. He achieved a special connection with the city of Zenica, who often visited to support the development of youth sports, especially rugby. He was an active member of Rugby Club “Steel” – the most trophy sports collective in BiH – and in his activities participated not only as a guest, but also as a player in friendly matches. Thanks to its engagement, Zenica also visited international famous sports figures, which made their knowledge and experiences with young athletes, while in the municipality of Vareš, to the realization of one of the greatest investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina – which led to new jobs and significant improvement of the local economy. The honorary citizen of Zenica-Doboj Canton was declared Avdagić Šekiband the Charter is awarded as a recognition for contribution to strengthening international cooperation between the Republic of Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He significantly contributed to economic cooperation between the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Republic of Turkey with his authority and active commitment, especially through his engagement at the ZEPS 2024 fair. Years resulting in numerous Turkish companies in the Fair that recognized the potential of Zenica-Doboj Canton. Avdagic, as a birthmarked, showed a strong relationship with his native end, in person himself to sign a memorandum of cooperation between the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce and the Institutional and Friendly Relationships between the two countries.

As part of the last point, the Assembly of the Zenica-Doboj Canton accepted the Report on the work and achieving the program of the Assembly for 2024. year, for the period I-XII 2024. years. In the reporting period, 15 sessions of the Assembly of Zenica-Doboj Canton were held, and the MPs considered a total of 79 acts, while the Assembly’s working bodies (commissions) and the other bodies appointed by the Assembly ambushed to 144 sessions.
