After the international G/E-1 taekwondo tournament was held in Sarajevo, where five taekwondo players from Posuja took part, and junior David Milićević won a gold medal, the tournament for cadets and juniors, which was awaited all year long, followed. The European Grand Prix Final 2025, which held the status of E-10 in the European ranking.
It features the best cadets and juniors in Europe, and it is also special in that it is the only taekwondo tournament in Europe at this level that gives medal winners provides cash prizes, but also an additional fight for the bronze medal.
At this prestigious competition, Taekwondo club Poskok had its two junior representatives. Anamarija Miličević she performed in the category of junior girls until 55 kilograms where in the quarter finals she met with a representative from Serbia who was more successful, so Anamarija lost 0:2 in the rounds. Anamarija was injured during training just before the performance, which contributed to this result.
She performed in the category of junior women up to 68 kilograms Lucija Milicevic which with won two victories for the bronze medal and new points in the European ranking. In the quarter finals, Lucija met with representative of France which she won with a convincing score of 2:0 in the rounds. She was waiting for her in the semi-finals representative of Serbiathe first seed and the current vice-champion of Europe, from whom she loses with a score of 0:2.
In the fight for the bronze medal, he fights with representative of Turkey and after a very hard fight without many points, Lucija wins with a score of 2:1 and secures a place on the podium among the best. This would not be such an unexpected result because Lucija has a very successful career behind her, but she has been struggling for several months is struggling with a knee injury which kept her taekwondo training to a minimum which she had to make up for in other ways.
Lucija also performed at the recently held European Junior Championship in Switzerland, where after winning the first round she met the current European champion and at the very end of the last round during the fall a heavy blow to the head which put her performance on this stage under question until the last moment.

We also congratulate the Taekwondo Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, whose members won three bronze medals in addition to Lucija’s at this tournament. Lucija and Anamarija are now going on a well-deserved rest and rehabilitation, and already next Sunday the Posuška club will have its representative at the European Senior Championship for younger seniors, where David Milićević, accompanied by coach Petr Boban, will perform in the Croatian Taekwondo Federation team and fight with the best younger seniors in Europe. it was announced from TKD Poskok Posušje.
