The Office of the Public Prosecutor in Lisbon, who works on the identification of the victims of the crash in the cable car in the capital of Portugal, confirmed that eight of the 16 killed people have been identified so far.
Among them is five Portuguese citizens, two South Korean and one Swiss citizen.
Work on identifying the remaining eight victims is in progress, the BBC reports.
