Inter Milan has shown serious interest in Moris Valinčić, Dinamo Zagreb football player who drew attention this season with his games, reports the well-known insider Gianluca Di Marzio.
The details of the potential transfer are not yet known, but the Italian giants are reportedly considering the possibility of bringing Valinčić already during the January transfer window.
After the purchase, Inter’s plan is to leave him on loan in Dinamo until the end of the season, following a similar model as was previously applied in the case of Petr Sučić.
Valinčić arrived at Maksimir this summer from Istria in 1961 and very quickly fought for a place in the starting line-up. In a short period of time, he became one of Dinamo’s most reliable and important players.
His progress was briefly slowed by injury, which forced him to take a break and miss part of the season. However, according to the latest information, he is expected to return to the field in the second part of the championship.
Inter want to carefully monitor his recovery and further development, and interest in the young footballer from Maksimir remains strong.
It is particularly interesting that in the 2022/23 season, Valinčić played in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he wore the jersey of Široki Brijeg.
