Members of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton (MUP TK) in the area of TK, undertaking planning activities to suppress and prevent the abuse of narcotic drugs and other crimes and misdemeanors, controlled and registered a total of 332 people.
At the same time, they controlled 200 vehicles, 10 searches of persons, two searches according to the orders of competent courts (objects, vehicles and persons), and four raids were carried out.
As pointed out by the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the search, a certain amount of substances associated with narcotic drugs were found and temporarily confiscated: nine PVC packages containing a white substance that looks like a narcotic drug and 10 PVC packages with a plant substance that looks like a narcotic drug, three digital scales, hand-rolled cigarettes with a plant substance that looks like a narcotic drug, tablets, mobile phones and other items that lead to the commission of criminal offenses in the field of drug abuse.
˝The persons with whom the above-mentioned items were found during the search (and it was determined by the expert opinion that they were narcotic drugs cannabis and amphetamine), namely AA (38) from Lukavac and SM (46) from Gračanica, were deprived of their liberty by order of the acting prosecutors, and they are the same with reports on the committed criminal offense with evidence, due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that they have committed criminal offenses under Article 238 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Criminal Procedure of FBiH, to be handed over to the jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Tuzla Canton. Also, during the implementation of these actions, in addition to the above-mentioned items, the following were found and temporarily confiscated: a rifle, a pistol, ammunition, notebooks, two driver’s licenses, a vehicle, license plates and other items, and 39 misdemeanor warrants were issued in connection with the recorded violations, the Police Administration of the MUP of TK announced.
Police officers continue further work on documenting the case, after which appropriate reports will be submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton.
