On Tuesday, the police officers of the Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, with the consent of the prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and acting according to the orders of the competent municipal courts, in several locations in the area of Tuzla Canton, searched persons, as well as residential and other premises used by persons who are linked to the commission of the aforementioned crimes.
On that occasion, the following items were confiscated in the area of Tuzla, Gračanica, Gradačac, Živinice, Srebrenik and Lukavac: a total of forty (40) packages containing substances that by their appearance are associated with narcotic drugs (white powdery and plant matter), twenty-three (23) seeds that by their appearance are associated with narcotic drug seeds, four digital scales for precise measurement, a crusher for narcotics drugs, as well as other items that can serve as evidence in the proceedings.
˝The objects and materials found were temporarily confiscated for the purpose of expert examination and other investigative actions, while adequate reports will be submitted to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton against the persons included in the said searches, after the completion of the case. One person, DH from Tuzla, was deprived of his freedom and he will be handed over to the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton for further action along with the report due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed a criminal offense under Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Unauthorized production and placing on the market of narcotic drugs”, announced the Police Administration of the MUP of TK.
