The Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism Records the Rest Weeks increasing citizens’ complaints due to the riding of quads and other motor vehicles in areas that are not intended.
Citizens rightly express concern because such activities cause significant damage to nature, violate peace and endanger the safety of other space users.
The Ministry recalls the public that the Law on the Protection of the Nature of the Federation of BiH is clearly prescribed:
– It is amended in areas outside the settlements, public roads, landscapes, landscaped trails and polygons drive, park or organize motor vehicle driving (which includes quads, motorcycles, field vehicles and similar means of transport).
Exceptions relate exclusively to perform official duties, agricultural and forestry work or other permitted activities in accordance with the law.
Penalties as follows as follows: a fine of 500 km to 1,500 km will be punished by a natural person, and a legal entity 5,000 km to 15,000 KM, which are replaced by new amendments to the Law on Nature Protection From 2,000 KM to 5,000 KM, and for a legal entity 10,000 km to 70,000 KM If:
-organizing motor drive outside the settlement, all types of roads, polish roads and arranged trails and driving polygons; All promotional, sports or recreational rides outside the specially decorated and marked surfaces are considered a violation of the law and are subject to inspection and police surveillance.
The Ministry calls on citizens to inform the competent cantonal inspection and the Ministry of the Interior, in order to take appropriate measures immediately.
Nature protection is a common responsibility of all of us, and respecting legal provisions is the best way to preserve the environment for future generations.
