Numerous people from the political and public life of America arrived at the inauguration, which was moved indoors for the first time after 40 years due to extreme cold.
It is interesting that the only representative of the region among the diplomats will be Ervin Ibrahimović, Montenegrin Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister.
“At the invitation of Congresswoman Nicole Maliotakis (Republican Party), Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ervin Ibrahimović will attend the 60th presidential inauguration, which will take place today in Washington. The new American President Donald Trump will take the oath of office, officially taking office as the 47th President of the United States of the American States”, announced the Government of Montenegro.
The Montenegrin government pointed out that the presence of Ibrahimović at the inauguration of the new US president is of particular importance for Montenegro, considering that the United States is one of the key Euro-Atlantic allies.
Among the diplomats from the countries close to us, the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mickoski, will attend the inauguration of Donald Trump.
