Pensions for May in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be paid on Friday, June 5, through the Unified Account of the FBiH Treasury, the Federal Institute for Pension and Disability Insurance (FZ MIO/PIO) announced.
For users who have earned their right to a pension by January 1, 2026, the lowest pension is 666.76 KM, guaranteed 795.74 KM, while the highest pension is 3,333.79 KM.
In accordance with the amendments to the Law on MIO, for users who exercise their right to a pension after January 1, 2026, the basis for calculating the lowest pension has been determined in the amount of 724.36 KM.
Based on this basis, the lowest pension for insured persons with less than 20 years of service is 434.62 KM, for 20 to 25 years of service 470.83 KM, for 25 to 30 years of service 507.05 KM, for 30 to 35 years of service 543.27 KM, for 35 to 40 years of service 615.71 KM, while for insured persons with 40 and more years of service is 688.14 KM.
The lowest disability pension and the lowest family pension for beneficiaries who became eligible after January 1, 2026, were determined in the amount of 651.92 KM.
At the same time, the guaranteed pension for beneficiaries with 40 or more years of insurance experience who become eligible after January 1, 2026 amounts to 842.44 KM.
The lowest pension for beneficiaries who exercise the right according to special regulations from the area of the veteran population is determined in the amount of 666.76 KM.
The average independent pension for May is 851.60 KM. Pensions for May will be received by a total of 468,769 beneficiaries, and approximately 355.7 million convertible marks are guaranteed for payment, it says. RTV TK.
