The group of delegates in the House of the Peoples Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina shall refer to the Parliamentary Procedure to amend the BiH election law, which would be adopted, enabled voting online for citizens of our country who do not live in BiH.
According to the text that should be referred to the parliamentary procedure soon, and in which he had insight Klix.baIt is a limited amendments dealing exclusively with the way of voting for the citizens of our country living outside BiH.
In addition to the amendments to the members of the law where the possibility of and online voting would be added, a new member also adds that the Central Election Commission (CEC) gives responsibility to regulate this issue.
Voting via the Internet is already in use, in a limited format, in several countries in the world, including Switzerland, Estonia, France, Lithuania and Canada.
Similar initiatives for the introduction of online voting for BiH citizens who live outside the borders of our country was earlier, but there were no concrete activities of state authorities on this issue.
According to information that our portal came, several delegates are ready to support this law when it is found on the agenda of the session of the House of Peoples.
However, it is worth noting that the home of the people, due to the blockade of the HDZ and SNSD, has long been operating in full capacity. In the previous three months, one session was held, at which several laws were adopted, which are not considered prioritized for our country.
It should be added that the reason for the HDZ and SNSD blocks is that with three delegates they have the possibility of demolishing the quorum, as they use, in order to “save” the People’s House and the BiH Council of the People from certain shifts.
