The topic of this year’s conference, “Joint Heritage as a diplomacy tool”, aims to promote a dialogue on peacebuilding, preserving culture and international cooperation and the acquaintance of the Mostar’s reconciliation and its global symbolism as a bridge between cultures, religions and people.
Second International Conference “Mostar 2025: Dialogue for the Future”, celebrates this year 20. anniversary of listing the old bridge in the Old Town of Mostar on the UNESCO World Heritage List. This turning point symbolizes reconciliation, persistence and permanent value of cultural heritage in the encouraging global peace and dialogue.
We are reminded that the International Conference “Mostar 2024: Dialogue for the Future”, marked last year, marked 20. Anniversary of the Old Bridge and the importance of dialogue, cooperation and integration of the Western Balkans in the EU. This initiated and an international diplomatic event was established that aims to host domestic and international officials in Mostar every year.
The night before the conference, 19. May, in the evening for high officials and participants, a program will be organized in which a jump from the old bridge will be organized and flowering for all victims of the wars, and then the grandfather.
On Tuesday, 20. May, the International Conference “Mapar”, the Future “, Presidents, Premier, Minister, European Union, UNESCO, will be held in May 20 Academics, civil society leaders and non-governmental organizations, young people, as well as media representatives and other participants.
Organized by the International Conference “Mostar 2025: Dialogue for the Future”, which is held under the auspices of the Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, dr. Denis Bećirović, in addition to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the City of Mostar, UNESCO, the UN Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina, RCC, the Center for Peace and Multiethnic Cooperation Mostar, and numerous other partners.
