Novak Djokovic advanced to the semi-finals of the Australian Open after losing the match to Lorenzo Musetti.
The Italian tennis player was convincing, leading with a safe 2:0 (in sets 6:4 and 6:3), but then in the third set he was forced to surrender the match.
The surrender happened at the moment when Djokovic was leading in the third set with 3:1.
Djokovic first took a break, then led 3:1, and then Musetti decided not to continue the match due to a leg injury.
In the semifinals of the Australian Open, Djokovic will play against the better of the match between Ben Shelton (7th ATP) and Jannik Sinner (2nd ATP). Their quarterfinal clash is scheduled for today at 9:00 a.m.
