The new season of the Champions League starts tonight, and the first Colom of League phase 36 clubs will begin the fight for the placement in the knockout phase.
The first round brings a few Large derbies and replays old finals.
Tuesday, 16. September:
Athletic Bilbao – Arsenal (18:45)
Athletic returns to the Champions League for the first time after 2014/15. Last season in Europe, they had four domestic victories in the Europa League group, but also defeat 0: 3 by Manchester United in the semifinals. Arsenal is undefeated in eight introductory colors of European campaigns in a row (6 wins, 2 draws). In the last 22 Meetings of the group phase of the Champions League, they lost only twice.

PSV – Union Saint-Gilloise (18:45)
PSV is without a defeat at home in the last 11 European matches. The Belgian Union debuts in the Champions League, and last season they celebrated twice at the guest appearances in the Netherlands – Against Twentea and Ajax in the Europa League.
Juventus – Borussia Dortmund (21:00)
Reprise of the 1997 finals. Which belonged to Dortmund (3: 1). Juve has six victories in nine duels with Borussia. They never lost at the start at home (six wins, three draws). Jonathan David arrived this summer and has ten goals in 18 champions League games. Dortmund got only one of the last seven guest games in Italy.
Real Madrid – Marseille (21:00)
Real Juri 200. win and 700. Goal in the champion league. The French champion lost 18 of the last 21 meetings in this competition. Kylian Mbappé scored in every introductory match for the last three seasons. Aubameyang has four goals against Real in the Champions League – everyone in Dortmund jersey.
Benfica – Qarabağ (21:00)
Benfica participates in 45. The road, which is the second largest number of performances behind Real. This season they are unbeaten and did not receive a goal. Qarabağ Play a group phase for the second time, the only representative of Azerbaijan in the elite.
Tottenham – Villarreal (21:00)
Spurs are unbeaten in the last 20 domestic European matches. Villarreal has only two victories against English clubs in the last 20 performances. Manor Solomon reached loan in Villarreal this summer from Tottenham.
Wednesday, 17. September:
Olympiacos – Paphos (18:45)
Greek Giant Game 36. Road in Champions League, more than any other club from that country. They are undefeated at home in seven last European duels. Paphos debuts, the third is a club from Cyprus who fought the group phase.
Slavia Prague – Bodø / Glimt (18:45)
The first duel clubs from the Czech Republic and Norway in the Champions League. Slavia Third time in the group, but without winning the last seven European meetings. Bodø / Glimt debuts and is the first Norwegian club in the Champions League after Rosenborg 2007.
Ajax – Inter (21:00)
Reprise of the 1972 final (Ajax celebrated 2: 0). Dutches have no victory against Italians at home in the last 13 games. Inter is undefeated in 13 meetings in a row against the Dutch teams. Sommer could become the first Swiss with 60 performances in the Champions League.
Bayern – Chelsea (21:00)
Reprise of the finals from 2012 when Chelsea won the title. Bayern undefeated in 34 domestic group phase meetings. The Germans received every introductory match for the last 21 seasons. Chelsea has 15 victories in the last 23 group encounters.
Liverpool – Atlético Madrid (21:00)
Liverpool has 14 domestic victories in a row in Europe, nine times and without a naked. Atlético never beat the English club in the group phase of the Champions League (four draws, four defeats).
Paris SG – Atalanta (21:00)
PSG has only one defeat in the last 12 matches against Italians. Atalanta is undefeated in the eight recent European guest appearances.
Thursday, 18. September:
Club Brugge – Monaco (18:45)
Brugge lost only two of the last 17 European domestic matches. Monaco celebrated four times in the introductory car in the last seven seasons.
Copenhagen – Leverkusen (18:45)
Copenhagen lost only two of the last 18 domestic encounters in the Champions League. Leverkusen got 11 of the last 16 group meetings.
Eintracht Frankfurt – Galatasaray (21:00)
Frankfurt plays group phase second time. Galatasaray is without victory in nine last guest appearances and only once celebrated in the last 17 group matches.
Manchester City – Napoli (21:00)
City is undefeated at home in 21 Meeting group phase, Haaland on the threshold of jubilee of 50 goals in the Champions League. Napoli never won ten guest appearances in England.
Newcastle – Barcelona (21:00)
Barcelona received three of the four previous duels, but Newcastle celebrated in 1997. (3: 2). Catalans have 20 wins in 29 introductory champions League.
Sporting CP – Cairat Almaty (21:00)
Sporting is three times in the last four seasons winner 1. Car. Kairat is another club from Kazakhstan in the group phase after Astana.
