The Minister of Physical Planning, Transport and Communications and Environmental Protection of the Zenica-Doboj Canton Adnan Shabani and the Federal Minister of the Environment and Tourism of Nasih Pozder was in the official visit of Olovo. With the host, the Chemalo Memagic Chief and his associates on that occasion discussed the development potentials and challenges with which this local community is currently facing.
Chief Memagić spoke about the commitment and projects of the municipality in Tourism, including a special place to the project of arranging the excursion site “Zeleni Vir”, which includes building bungalows and rest areas. Also, he pointed out that the municipality is open to cooperation with investors, but exclusively with the respect of the law and the principles of environmental protection.
-Investors must be socially responsible and invest in local communities, in order to solve the problems in a sustainable way. It is primarily important to protect the Rijeka to Bioštica, as well as to improve the work of the “Gradina” department, which is done and therefore, in addition to very good cooperation with the cantonal authorities, they need partners from the federal level – said Memagić.
Minister Pozder pointed out that lead, as well as all other municipalities and cities in the FBiH have a partner in the Ministry and the Government of the Federation of BiH. Pozder presented as long as the Federal Waste Management Plan was made, and provided guidelines regarding budget and possible projects in the next year in the environmental segment, especially the rehabilitation of wild landfills, as well as tourism.
He especially emphasized the importance of using the interesting loans of the Development Bank for Tourism Projects, where the Federal Ministry is taking over interest.
-For sustainable development of tourism, which is in balance with environmental balance, it is important that municipalities like leaders have quality and ready projects. Protection of natural areas is something we can work together – at the beginning of the year, amendments to the Law on Protection of Nature, in a simpler way protect the nature of their potentials and we will provide support – said Minister Pozder.
Also, Pozder informed the Chief that the BiH Government recently adopted comprehensive information regarding the “Geomet” operator “, and that one of the conclusions of the Federal Institute for Agropedology provide support in determining the condition of the land.
Minister Adnan Sabani assessed that the municipality of Lead has a significant development of tourism, and that the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton will support the infrastructure projects, as well as those who lead to destinations, such as the green virus and the sports and recreation center “Ajdinovići”.

Ministers Shabani and Pozder accompanied by the Chief of Memagic visited the picnic “Zeleni Vir”, where the relevant cantonal ministry has recently financed the rehabilitation of the local road.
