Minister Pozder emphasized the importance of involving all levels of government in the final phase of consultations for the new legal solution awaiting tourism workers.
– No Law on Tourism is long and I am happy to enter the final phase of preparation, we published a public invitation for the submission of the new Law on Tourism, until 21. May, and the Law on Residence Fee FBiH, until 20. May. Cooperation with municipalities such as Ilidža, which have an exceptional role in the development of tourism, is huge significance. The engagement of the head of the muzura, while it was one of the drivers of the development of the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton, and even the experiences, as the chief of a vital local community, can contribute to the finding of quality solutions – said Minister Pozder.
The Municipality of Ilidža significantly contributes to the tourist offer of the Federation of BiH, attracting a large number of guests with its natural beauties and historical sights.
From the Ministry state that, according to the data, Ilidža is held in the Canton of Sarajevo in terms of tourists, achieved nights, the number of accommodation units and beds, and is an interesting place with the necessary infrastructure and rich content. Last year, only the natural monument of Vrelo Bosne visited 347,995 tourists, of which 232,824 were foreign nationals, which confirms the status of Ilidža as one of the leading destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Close to Sarajevo International Airport, Numerous Sights, Renewed Cult Excursion The Stojčevac and the Natural Beauty of Mount Igman, further strengthen the position of Ilidža in the tourism sector.
– New Law on Tourism and the Law on Residence Taxis are key to further advancement of tourism. It is something that will give us a framework and incentive that tourism be one of the important segments of our economic development. Our municipality has a huge potential for the further development of tourism, and we can also need cooperation with the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism and I am convinced that we will have quality projects that we can realize in common – said Chief Muzur.
The meeting was completed by agreement on the continuation of cooperation to allow Ilidža to continue to be the initiator of tourism development, with the support of federal institutions in the realization of new projects and improving the legislative framework.
