Zenica-Doboj Canton continues with specific and strong support to the civil sector in the field of health.
The Ministry of Health of Zenica-Doboj Canton will be published by three public calls for financing programs and projects of health associations in 2025. Years. It is about public calls designed: associations that gather with malignant diseases – in the amount of 30,000 KM, in the amount of 30,000 KM and other health associations from the area of Canton – in the amount of 40,000 KM.
This practice of direct financing of health associations has begun last year and represents a reform measure undertaken by the Ministry of Health led by Minister Aid Salčinović. This year, the Ministry is proud to continue the implementation of this program for a second time in a row, which establishes the continuity of support for the health care and transparent way.
– When we first launched this model last year, we wanted to clearly say that health associations are not on the margin, but are an important care partner and public education. Today, the second year in a row, we repeat that message and we make it concrete support, “said Minister Aida Salčinović.
On this occasion, she sent invitation to all health associations to apply for public calls.
– This is an opportunity to jointly build a health care system that recognizes and respects the role of the association as an extended hand of the health system. Together, we can contribute to better health, greater information and the better life of our citizens – said Minister Salčinović.
The Ministry of Health will support projects that are aimed at: Protection of patients’ rights, health promotion, education and advice of patients, preventive and supportive activities for the most vulnerable categories of the population.
