The Argentine maestro led Inter Miami to victory over Nashville (3:1) in the first game of the MLS playoffs, scoring two goals and delighting the fans in the stands.
Before the start of the match, the stadium witnessed a solemn ceremony – Messi received the Golden Boot for the best scorer of the regular season, after which he shone again on the field.
He scored the first goal in the 19th minute with a precise header, while Allende increased Miami’s lead to 2:0 in the 62nd minute.
At the very end of the match, in stoppage time, Messi was the scorer again and made the score 3:0, and the guests only managed to alleviate the defeat with a goal by Mukhtar.
With this performance, Messi once again confirmed his class – he finished the season with 29 goals in 28 games, which deservedly won the Golden Boot.
