British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and the leaders of France and Germany discussed “positive progress” on using frozen Russian sovereign assets to support Ukraine, Downing Street said on Monday.
– All leaders agreed that now is a critical moment and that we must continue to increase support for Ukraine and economic pressure on Putin in order to end this barbaric war – Starmer’s spokesman said.
– While diplomatic efforts continue, Europe must stand by Ukraine. They also discussed the positive progress made in using immobilized Russian sovereign assets to support the reconstruction of Ukraine, he added.
