Two legends of FK Sarajevo, Mersudin Ahmetović and Krste Velkoski, continue their football mission, but this time outside the field, in the role of key people in the new phase of cooperation between FC Sarajevo and FK Radnik Hadžići.
Mersudin Ahmetović takes on the first assistant head of the Chief of the Professional Staff from Hadzici from the first assistant, where he will work with the main coach of the Bakir Sherb.
At the same time, Ahmetović is the official representative of FC Sarajevo in the professional team of workers, in accordance with the strategic partnership agreement of two clubs. His field presence is now transformed into a mentoring role next to the bench, but with the same energy, passion and a sense of play.
At the same time, Krste Velkoski, the captain marked by one of the most successful ERA FK Sarajevo, has already taken over the function of the Technical Director of the Club. His return in this role brings additional strength and stability in the sports sector, but also gives a new sense to the long-term development of infrastructure and systems within the club.
What makes this story special is the fact that they had shared the locker room and field until recently, and now, in new functions, the shoulder reaches the realization of the strategic partnership between Sarajevo and workers.
Their daily communication, mutual trust and a true understanding of the football philosophy are the foundation of the project that has clear goals: the development of young players, raising sports standards and long-term stability of both clubs.
This season is an important start to build a system that connects two clubs through a common vision, and in that system, people like Ahmetović and Velkoski play a key role.
