The Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Tuzla Canton and the Bureau of Corruption and Quality Management on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which define concrete models of joint action with the aim of improving the fight against corruption and strengthening the integrity of public administration.
The Memorandum was signed by the Chief Cantonal Prosecutor Vedran Alganovic and the Secretary of the Office Muamer Šljivić.
The document is established by the mechanisms of cooperation between the two institutions, with a much compliance with their independence and independence. Cooperation is based on the exchange of information, joint activities and coordination in the procedure, which indicate corrupt actions.
– Memorandum provides for cooperation in multiple segments:
-Rocular information and documentation relevant to the detection and processing of corrupt crimes
-Funny education and professional development of employees
-Rocate mechanisms for monitoring and evaluation of anti-corruption activities
-Areation for drafting system measures for corruption prevention
-Coordination through appointed contact persons from both institutions
-The hearing in reform processes and improving legal regulations
This cooperation is an important step towards a more efficient institutional response to corruption, raising the level of legality, public ethics and transparency, and strengthen citizens’ trust in the work of judicial and control bodies.
