Once again, Old Trafford was the stage for an unforgettable evening of football that will be remembered for a long time in the Premier League.
In the meeting of the 16th round, Manchester United and Bournemouth played 4:4, in a match full of twists and turns and eight goals scored. In the end, each team took a point, which, looking at the entire game, is a realistic outcome.
United opened the match strongly and took the lead in the 13th minute with a goal by Diallo. However, at the end of the first half, the visitors equalized through Semeny. When it seemed that they would go to the break without a winner, Casemiro restored the advantage to the home team in stoppage time and made the score of the first half 2:1.
The second half brought real fireworks. Bournemouth equalized in the 46th minute with a goal by Evanilson, and just six minutes later Tavernier delivered a complete shock to the home crowd with a goal to make it 3:2.
United looked shaky at the time, but captain Bruno Fernandes took charge and scored another equalizer with a superb free kick in the 77th minute. The euphoria in the stadium grew even more just two minutes later, when Cunha scored for 4:3 and a big turnaround.
However, the drama was not over. At the very end of the match, Kroupi scored a goal for Bournemouth and made the final 4:4.
