In the emotional interview for Humberto emissions, Van Gaal confirmed that he feels healthy and strong, and that there are no more symptoms of the disease.
“Two years ago, I had several operations, my condition was very bad. I was physically weak, but I haven’t finally done. I have no further than the regular controls every three months,” the former Selektor Netherlands said.
The positive trend continues because, as it says, all the values of the dog finds zero, which means that the disease is not expanding.
“I’m in good shape. I’m 73, do I look bad?” Said Van Gaal with a smile.
He recalled and the most difficult moments during the fight with the disease, when he had to perform publicly as he used diapers:
“I didn’t have big pain, but it was terribly wearing diapers and be in public. I wasn’t always noticed. Once I should have awarded the trophies and happened that I had a touch. Nobody told me, but I felt terribly embarrassing.”
Today, when the disease is behind him, Van Gaal returned football, as an advisor in Ajax, a club in which he built part of his impressive coaching career.
