Swiss Loic Meillard was the fastest in tonight’s World Cup giant slalom in Schladming, Austria.
He won with a total time of two runs – 2:14.38. The Brazilian Lucas Pinheiro Braathen was 73 hundredths behind him, and the third place went to the Frenchman Alban Eleza Cannaferini, who was 90 hundredths behind the winner.
Marco Odermatt (Switzerland) leads the giant slalom standings with 450 points. Odermatt also leads convincingly in the overall standings of the World Cup for the Big Crystal Globe with 1,335 points.
