In his speech, he paid tribute to all dead fighters, martials and heroes who gave lives for freedom, and said that the struggle for Bosnia and Herzegovina continues today – through the truth, education and institutions.

We stand today on the hill bile – a place that has preserved Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The honor of one state, one nation, one idea was fed up here before 33 years ago. There was no dilemma here – just one question: freedom or disappearance. You said then: Freedom.
Marking the Day of Defense The Municipality of Novi Grad and the famous battles for hill bile is not just a memory of the battle. It is a testimony of deep respect for all brave fighters that have been placed in the Department of Defense. Their victim was not only resistance to aggression – it was an act of love for Earth, people and freedom.
That is why today, from this place, on behalf of generations that were born in the peace you have elected, expressing deep respect and gratitude. You were not soldiers in office – you were soldiers for conscience. You defended our home, family, people and truth.
Your fight was not only against aggressors, but also against injustice, against imposition and denial – struggle for what is again trying to challenge the attacks on the state.
Today, these struggles are kept by other means – political, legal, information. He doesn’t shoot more cannon, but he shoots the word. Shooting a lie. Shoot the denial of genocide. He shoots the threat of secession and “calm breaks”. Before the eyes of the whole world – repeated rhetoric in the 90’s, only this time more sociable and perfidious.
The fight is not completed. He just changed his shape. And she is looking for allies among young people today. Today, more than ever, our children must know what happened here. They need to know that Bosnia and Herzegovina has been defended, not worn.
The obligation of us all – institutions, societies, education – is to convey to young people to the truth. Not to learn them hatred than pride. Because only the people knowing and respecting your past can build a safe future.
The monument of “Wing Freedom” does not stand here only as a symbol of the past, but also as a vow for the future – that freedom is not given, but won, and must be kept. Let us permanently warn us of the vigilance and need for the preservation of Bosnia and Herzegovina from every attempt at its demolition.
Our obligation is double: to remember those who gave lives and live values for which they gave them – justice, freedom, dignity and state. Today, the state is defended by truth, institutions, justice and mutual respect.
Let the names of fighters with bile, hero with naked hills and all our martyrs be the lighthouse of our path.
Let them know: their victim was not in vain. Bosnia and Herzegovina is not a gift. She is honor. She is debt. And she is – our eternal obligation. As long as there are those who love her, defend and guard – she will last.
Where are we today, 30 years after? We live in peace – that is good and valuable for all citizens, and we can be satisfied. However, we are dissatisfied with the processes leading, ambience in the state, the ubiquitous tension, fear and departure of people.
Our internal political non-arbitration, indecision and weakness further heals us. We fully relied on the international community, forgetting that she can’t solve our problems instead of us. Bosniak, ie Bosnian politics today is divided, unidential and too weak to defend the principles of the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
