Lazio’s left back Nuno Tavares (25) could move to Saudi Arabia in the winter transfer window since Al-Ittihad is showing interest in him, Italian media reported.
Tavares arrived at Lazio in the summer of last year from Arsenal, first on loan, but in January the Roman club bought his contract for five million euros.
This season, the Portuguese footballer has played ten games for Lazio, but in the last five Serie A games he has been on the bench three times. Italian media reports that there has been communication between Al-Ittihad and Lazio for some time and that Tavares is inclined to move to the Saudi club, reports Hina.
Also, Lazio would benefit from the money from the sale of the Portuguese player, as it could finance the necessary transfers in the January transfer window.
Arsenal would also benefit from the sale of Tavares, who are entitled to 40 percent of his transfer fee.
