“The vital interests of the Serbian people are attacked in the Balkans, including their historical and religious rights,” Lavrov said in New York.
He emphasized that even the basic principle from the UN Charter – compliance with the Security Council decisions are neglected in the Western Balkans.
He especially emphasized the example of Kosovo, saying that unilaterally recognition is independence, despite the resolution 1244, not only on Serbia but also on the stability of the entire region.
