Recently, increasing the number of cases with adverse effects and serious consequences for patients, due to inadequate and uncompromal use of hyaluronic fillers and are applied outside health care institutions, and therefore informs citizens’ cantonal administration for cantonal health and Cantonal Pharmaceutical Inspectors Complete inspection supervises over the application of hyaluronic fillers and Botulinum toxin type A.
Citizens are alerted to comply with the legal regulations of the application of hyaluronic fillers and botulinum toxin, or may not be performed in cosmetic salons, neither in dental practitioners, cosmetologists or health workers who perform these services outside the health institution.
Article 89 Station (7) of the Rulebook on the closer conditions of space, equipment and staff in health care institutions (“Official Gazette of the FBiH”, no. plastic surgery or ophthalmology or dermatovenerology or subspecialization of plastic surgery.
Accordingly, clearly and unambiguously arises that hyaluronic fillers and botuline toxin type A (Botox) must not be applied outside health care institutions. Applying these preparations must not make beauticians, cosmetologists, dentists, nor doctors who do not have the listed specializations.
In order to protect the population, citizens are warned that the allergic reactions and side effects of the Hilayuron fillers and potentially very dangerous are prescribed under the strict supervision of the doctor’s specialist, there may be serious consequences for users.
The subjects of supervision on the consistent application of the law and accompanying regulations are warned, as in the event of observed in the field, all the legally prescribed misdemeanor and criminal measures will be underway.
Also, citizens are invited to notice irregularities without postponing the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton.
