Nikola Jokić continues to play at the MVP level, and his Denver overcame Sacramento tonight with a score of 136:101.
The Serbian center played another almost perfect game, dominating in 29 minutes on the floor.
Jokić finished the match with 36 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists, with incredible shooting efficiency.
He hit 14 of 16 field goal attempts, an impressive 87.5% accuracy. He shot 12/14 for two points, and converted both three-point attempts into goals. Only at the free throw line (6/8) did he have a slightly weaker performance.
Along with Jokić, Peyton Watson had a great role in the Nuggets jersey, who added 21 points. Malik Monk with 18 and Russell Westbrook with 17 points stood out the most for the Kings, but they couldn’t keep up with Denver’s pace.
With this convincing victory, Denver reached its 18th triumph of the season and currently ranks second in the West with a record of 18–6. Sacramento is on the opposite side of the table – it is second to last, with only six wins and as many as 19 losses.
