The Israeli army said it had killed a local Hamas commander in the Gaza Strip, while both sides continue to accuse each other of violating the agreed ceasefire.
The statement stated that it was Al al-Hadidi, the man who led the supply sector and was among the most important commanders in Hamas’ military production.
According to Israel, he was killed in one of the strikes on Gaza on Saturday.
Hamas has not yet commented on these allegations.
Israeli forces carried out multiple airstrikes on Saturday, and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the strikes were in response to a situation in which a member of Hamas allegedly crossed into Israeli territory.
Netanyahu said five senior Hamas members had been killed, while Gaza health authorities said at least 20 Palestinians had died.
