Israel will reopen the Israeli border crossing between Jordan and the occupied West Bank for humanitarian aid trucks bound for Gaza for the first time since late September, an Israeli official said on Tuesday.
– Following the agreements and directive of the political echelon, starting tomorrow (Wednesday) the transport of goods and aid from Jordan to the Judea and Samaria area and the Gaza Strip via the Allenby crossing will be allowed – an Israeli official said in a statement on Tuesday, using the Israeli biblical term for the West Bank.
– All aid trucks destined for the Gaza Strip will continue under escort and security, after a thorough security inspection – the official added, according to AFP.
