Iran replaced the anti-risk defense systems that were damaged during last month’s conflicts with Israel, the State News Agency of Defah Press, referring to the Deputy Commander of the Regular Army Mahmud Musavia.
During the intensive conflict in June, the Israeli air force achieved a supremacy in the Iranian airspace, inflicting serious damage to Iranian anti-breathable capacities. At the same time, Iran performed multiple barrages of drones and rockets towards Israeli territory.
“We cannot hide the fact that some of our air defense systems are damaged. However, our engineers quickly replaced them in advance prepared domestic systems that have been preserved in strategic locations, to ensure the safety of our airspace,” Musavi said.
Iran has relied on domestic systems as Bavar-373 for years, with the import of Russian S-300 system. Although Defah Press did not mention the new import of foreign systems in the last week, Tehran previously showed Russian technology during military exercises, suggesting the ability to renew after attacks.
