The Cantonal Governance for Inspection Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton is recalled by all legal and physical entities that on 13.06.2025. The Law on Control and Limited Use of Tobacco, Tobacco and Other Smoking Products, as well as the Rulebook on the conditions for special smoking spaces in terms of exceptions from the smoking prohibition.
From that date in the Federation of BiH, including Zenica-Doboj Canton, the required application of these regulations has begun, and all entities are required to harmonize their business in accordance with them.
Given the arrival of colder time and increased stay of citizens indoors, the Inspectors of the Cantonal Administration for Inspection Affairs will perform enhanced inspection supervises in all entities covered by these legal regulations in the coming period. In the cases of identified irregularities, all the law envisions will be undertaken.
For violation of the provisions of the law and the Rulebook, monetary sanctions are envisaged. For legal entities from 500 km to 5,000 KM, for responsible persons in legal entities from 300 km to 1,000 KM, and for owners and beneficiaries of space, as well as persons responsible for smoking, are from 500 km to 2,500 KM.
– We invite all subjects operating in the Zenica-Doboj Canton, and to which the Law and Rulebook relate to in a timely manner its business with applicable regulations, in order to avoid any sanctions. We also invite citizens that in order to protect health and the creation of a safer environment, it is notified by all observed irregularities regarding the application of the law and the Rules.
