An Israeli drone attacked a house in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, killing a woman and a child and injuring several people, the source said.
Israeli artillery shelled the eastern and northern parts of the Bureij and Nuseirat camps, but no casualties were reported.
“Seven people lost their lives and several were wounded, including children, in an airstrike on a house in the northern city of Jabalia,” another medical source said.
Eyewitnesses said that Israeli forces continued to blow up houses and residential buildings in Beit Lahia and Jabalia in northern Gaza.
In southern Gaza, several people were injured in an airstrike on a house in al-Fukhari area in the eastern part of Khan Younis.
The Israeli military is waging a genocidal war in Gaza that has killed more than 45,500 Palestinians since October 7, 2023, mostly women and children, despite a United Nations Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire.
In November, the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
Israel is also facing a charge of genocide at the International Court of Justice due to the war in Gaza.
