Heavy rainfall led to a sudden rise in the water level of the Dobrinja River, which in some parts overflowed its banks and threatened some households.
A reporter from the Vijesti.ba portal was on the ground and saw for himself the extent of the decline. The locals told us that the river overflowed in Mlinište. Some of them are wearing raincoats and boots and say they will be on duty all night. Water enters yards and driveways.

Otes again showed how vulnerable it is during periods of intense rainfall.
Let us remind you that recently, with the release of machinery to the field, the start of the project to improve the Željeznica riverbed in Ilidža was officially started. The implementation of this project should significantly change the course of the river, improve the flow of water and help protect the population from floods in the long term.
