Široki’s basketball players justified their role as favorites in the Herceg-Bosna Cup final by winning against the Zrinjski team with a score of 79:104 on Wednesday evening in Mostar.
The match went in one direction from the very beginning. Siroki had the advantage after two minutes 3:9but then it Zrinjski woke up briefly and came to leadership in the middle of the first quarter (12:11). However, by the end of the first ten minutes, the guests returned the advantage to their side and the quarter ended with a result 20:26.
Already in the second quarter, it was clear that it was about a big difference in quality between these two teams. Široki was able to score points easily and after less than five minutes of play in the continuation he had +20 (28:48). Guest coach Marijan Bagarić he took advantage of that and in the early stages of this match he gave more minutes to the younger players. Matej Galić he got a chance already towards the end of the first quarter, and Andrej Radivojevic in the middle of the second quarter. We went on vacation with the advantage of Široki 40:60.

He was chosen as the most valuable player of the final Jalyn MC Creary (HKK Široki).
Široki, as the winner of the Herceg-Bosna Cup, will perform at to the Final Four BiH Cup where his opponents will be Borac, Bosnia and Igokea.
