“FK Borac hereby wishes to inform the public that all debts to the players and the working community will be settled in the course of the next week, and media reports such as “the financial crisis is shaking FK Borac” are completely unfounded and biased.
FK Borac is just one of the many clubs in the Premier League society that has certain debts to the players and the working community in the current season, but it is clearly the first on the list of those who are impatiently waiting for “black news”.
There are none in Platonova 6, and we will try to make it so in the next period as well.
The results we have achieved so far, on and off the field, have shown that our club is going in the right direction, and that seems to be a thorn in many people’s side.
In the past few years, FK Borac has repaid a large part of its debts with constant investments in the development of infrastructure at the City Stadium, strengthening of the playing staff, development of the youth school, but also numerous other things necessary for the daily functioning of the club.
According to the players, coaches and members of the working community, FK Borac has no debts from previous seasons and this is a practice we will continue with in the future.
FK Borac, in the last eighteen months, allocated a significant part of the funds for the development and improvement of the infrastructure, as well as the accompanying equipment:
– reconstruction of the dressing room, trophy room and complete furnishing of the “lounge room” area next to the VIP zone on the west stand
– new sets of devices for the physio block and the medical part of the team
– control room on the west stand
– GPS system, with accompanying equipment, for the coaching part of the team, necessary for improving the training process
FK Borac, this season, also started a large infrastructure project of installing a new assembly stand on the south side of the City Stadium, as well as the reconstruction of the east stand with the installation of a roof structure according to all UEFA standards.
Our club provided the necessary financial resources, and the completion of the works is delayed due to the obstruction of the competent authorities in the City of Banjaluka.
FK Borac will hold a media conference during the next week, where the members of the Management Board will address.
Until then, our next goal is to achieve another victory in the Premier League test that awaits us on Sunday at the City Stadium in Banja Luka (3:15 p.m.),” reads the Borca statement.
