The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded awards for top sports results. Among the awardees are RK Scout Ljubuški and boxers Leon Vranješ and Petar Nosić.
Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić and Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević today in Sarajevo, they presented awards to athletes, coaches and clubs from the entire Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for their excellent sports results at international and national competitions, writes Radio Ljubuški.
Awards are granted in accordance with the Regulation on determining the criteria for awarding of awards to athletes, sports workers and sports associations from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For winning first place in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the 2024/2025 season, he received recognition Handball club Izvidač Ljubuški.
In the boxing category, awards were given to:
- Petar Nosica member of the Majić Ljubuški Boxing Club, for winning 1st place (gold medal) at the BiH National Championship in the category up to 80 kg.
- Leon Vranjes, member of the Ljubuški Boxing Club, for winning 1st place (gold medal) at the BiH State Championship in the category up to 54 kg.
In total, more than 1.3 million KM was awarded to 195 athletes, 31 coaches and 13 clubs. for exceptional sports successes achieved in the first half of 2025, and from June to November 2024, as well as for the results achieved in non-Olympic sports in 2025.
By awarding these awards, The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina awarded the athletes for their outstanding sports resultsand Ljubuški proudly has its representatives among the best.
