The Hamas Palestinian Group stated that the Israeli Gaza residency plan represents a “new wave of genocide and forced emigration” for hundreds of thousands of people in the area.
The group stated that the distribution of tents and other equipment for shelters was planned by Israel in the South Gaza “obvious deception”.
The Israeli Army said that it was prepared for the distribution of tents and other equipment starting from Sunday, within the relocation plan from the battle zones to the south of the enclave “to ensure their safety”.
In a statement, Hamas stated that the deployment of tents under the pretext of humanitarian goals “is an obvious deception that needs to be covered with the brutal work prepared by the occupation forces.”
Earlier this month, Israel announced the intention of initiating a new offensive for taking control of the northern part of Gaza, the largest urban central enclave.
The plan provoked international concerns about the fate of a destroyed area, which is home to about 2.2 million people.
