For Halloween, the Norwegian goalscorer transformed into the Joker, the famous purple suit, full make-up and green hair to surprise the people of Manchester.
The Norwegian recently launched his official YouTube channel, and his first video – “A day in the life of a professional footballer: Erling Haaland” – has collected almost 6 million views. The second video, called “I was a secret Joker on the streets of Manchester”, was published on Friday night and already has more than 100 thousand views.
Haaland is the Premier League’s top scorer this season too, with 11 goals scored in his first nine appearances. City’s goalscoring machine is expected to win the Golden Boot this season, having lost the accolade to Liverpool star Mohamed Salah last season. Although the 25-year-old scored 22 league goals for Pep Guardiola’s team, the injury limited him to only 31 appearances in the starting line-up, reports Index.hr.
Salah, on the other hand, had a season to remember, scoring 29 goals with 18 assists to help the Reds secure the league title. After failing to score for the first time this season last weekend against Aston Villa, Haaland missed the EFL Cup win against Swansea due to the injury sustained in that 1-0 defeat. However, he is expected to return on Sunday, when City welcome Bournemouth.
