The best Croatian skier Zrinka Ljutić achieved a great result in Canada’s Tremblant, where she won second place in the World Cup in the giant slalom race.
Ljutić is after the winner, a New Zealander Alice Robinsonwas 94 hundredths behind, while she was faster than the third-placed Canadian Valerie Grenier for six hundred cents.
With this result she equaled her best career result in that discipline, and at the same time it is first podium this season, reports Hina.
I am happy with the second giant slalom podium in my career. I finally got on the podium this season as wellsaid Ljutić. She pointed out that her first ride was specially adapted to her: The track was set by my coach and dad, it was based on my strengths and that rhythm suited me.
The lower part of the track, she adds, was arrhythmic and full of waves, but she reacted well and gained confidence for the second run. At the start of the second run I was hindered a lot by the fog, but after the first few doors the visibility was better, explained Ljutić.
Another giant slalom in Tremblant awaits the Croatian skier on Sunday.
