Today, the Cantonal Court in Sarajevo sentenced the verdict in the case of shocking murder of Nermina Krajina, the wife of Goran Ravlić, who committed a crime in the Sarajevo settlement of Pofalići last summer. Goran Ravlić and his mother Leđib Ravlić, who was accused as an accomplice, were sentenced to 45 years in prison.
According to the indictment, Goran and Leđiba Ravlić from mid-May, June 2024, in the apartment in PoFalići, they were continuously abused by Nermina Krajina, limiting him with the outside world, destroying the mobile phone and forbidding the apartment. The victim suffered physical and mental abuse, including starvation, haircut, embroidery of hair, arm binding and sexual abuse. A total of more than 100 injuries were applied, including bite, burns, fractures and injuries to the genital area, passed away.
The body of Nermine Krajina remained in the apartment for days, while the accused tried to conceal the crime using various scented candles and air fresheners. According to the indictment, Goran and Leđiba Ravlić, at the ordinance, bought tools and equipment – including the ax, plastic boxes, ammonia, meat grinding and disinfectants – to remove clues and covert the body.
During the trial, the case is separated in relation to Latif Jašarević, who recognized the guilt and cooperated with the Prosecution.
In one of the hearings, Goran Ravlić admitted that he abused his mother and killed his wife, but he claimed that he did not plan. During the testimony, he made unusual claims, including the belief that “new Jesus” and the ability to predict events, like an earthquake in Turkey. He also spoke about the prison life, suicide attempts and talks with cats in a cell.
Despite his claims and statements on Kajanja, the court declared Goran and Leđib Ravlić guilty of the murder of Nermina Krajina and sentenced 45 years in prison, which reflects the weight and brutality of crimes.
