The festival is officially opened in the square in front of “Lola” on Dolac Malta, where visitors had the opportunity to enjoy a rich program full of traditional dances and folk costumes from different parts of the world.
At the first festival evening, several ensembles from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as guests from the region and Europe, including representatives from Poland, Bulgaria, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Turkey and Cyprus.
More than 400 participants on the scene presented a variety of folk traditions, which caused great enthusiasm of the audience.

The organizers point out that the atmosphere in the square was extremely warm and friendly, and the audience was accompanied by each performance with great interest. The festival continues its program and in the coming days, and the next evening moves to the Bulevar defenders Dobrinje, while the final ceremony is scheduled for the Sabbath on the Square of the First Police Brigade.
This year’s special feature is the possibility of actively participating in the selection of the best group through voting, which further encourages the interaction between contractors and spectators.
