On Wednesday, 23. July 2025. Mostar will shine in the sign of emotion and red. On the day the city marks 21. The anniversary of the Old Bridge, the Football Club Velež Mostar organizes a solemn donor evening “Red Night under the old – evening born”.
The event that is located in a unique location on the plateau below the old bridge, gathers all what Velež is, true love, heritage, dignity, but also a reminder of the inextricable connection between the club, and the most important – people who love him.
The red night under the old man will start an official program at 20:30, within which the clubs will be presented to the Chief People as well as the legend of Velež. Also, a special part of the evening will be dedicated to the importance of the reconstruction of the old bridge and its connection with the club, which for centuries serve as a source of permanent inspiration for poets, artists, athletes, and red.
Harry Mata Hari, Mostar artists and a new generation of births
After the official part, in the entertainment program, the Children’s Choir, Mostar musicians and the regional famous group Hari Mata Hari.
A special moment of the evening will definitely be a light-sound performance in the Old Bridge and the River Neretva, which will symbolically link the past, present and future. However, they go to the Mostar Spirit and the future of Velež will organize boys from Reveret School, those in whose legs lies the future of the club.
RELEZE’S LEGENDS ARE
With friends of the club, donors and sponsors, a red night will attend numerous legends, as Vahid Halilhodžić and Meho Kodro, as well as a large number of guests from the political, public, cultural and social life of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, region and the world.
A red night is a call on gathering, to a reminder who we are and what the Velez means to all of us. It will be this moment in which the love of the club goes out of the stadium and passes into the heart of the city, under the old bridge.
