The punishment was imposed on NS/FS BiH due to the incident at the qualification match for the 2026 FIFA World Cup between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Romania. According to the decision of the Disciplinary Committee, at least 20% of the available seats at the first following home match must be closed, whereby the closure will primarily be in the stands behind the goals.
Accordingly, the southeast stand, blocks B, C and D, which includes 1,508 seats, will be completely closed. In addition, part of the western stand, the first three rows, will also not be in use, which amounts to an additional 592 seats. A total of 2,100 seats will be closed to the public at this important match.
NS/FS BiH stated that the reduction in the number of tickets will affect the commercial part of sales, and appeals to fans to inform themselves about the available seats at the stadium before arriving.
