Turkish basketball giant and current European champion Fenerbahce announced that both home games against Israeli clubs in this Euroleague season will be played in Munich, for security reasons.
On November 11, Fenerbahce will play against Maccabi from Tel Aviv, while the match against Hapoel is scheduled for November 13.
The decision to move the matches was made after assessing the security situation, and the Turkish club stated that the priority is the protection of players, officials and fans.
A similar case was recorded last season, when Fenerbahçe played its home match against Maccabi on a neutral ground in Lithuania instead of in Istanbul.
