Exhibition “Vlado Pravdić – The Little Prince from Mary’s Court” opened

Vlado Pravdić was a member of the legendary rock group Bijelo Dugme, as well as other influential groups such as Ambasador and Index.

At this exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to learn details about the life and work of Vlado Pravdić through various exhibits. Among them are private photographs from his archive, official photographs from his years of work in the groups Ambasadori, Indexi and Bijelo dugme, as well as newspaper articles, interviews, a list of discography releases in which he participated and a particularly valuable exhibit – the last keyboards that Pravdić played on , it was announced from the Museum of Literature and Theater Art of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The exhibition is part of the “Literature and Popular Culture” project, which explores the connection between literature and popular culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is based on documentary material and other testimonies.

In addition to the author, the museum director Šejla Šehabović, journalist and editor Dževdet Tuzlić, famous musician Vlado Podany and composer, musician and music producer Ismet Nuno Arnautalić, who opened the exhibition, spoke about Pravdić.

Vlado Pravdić was born on December 6, 1949 in Sarajevo. He fell in love with music at an early age, and his musical journey began in the groups Walkins and Kost. In the period from 1970 to 1971, he played in the group Ambasadori, and later became a member of Index. In 1974, he joined the group Jutro, which soon changed its name to Bijelo dugme, where he spent the key years of his career.

Pravdić was known for his dedicated lifestyle, which was different from the typical lifestyle of musicians, and he was in the group Bijelo dugme until 1987, and then returned in 2005 when they held a series of successful concerts.

The exhibition “VLADO PRAVDIC – THE LITTLE PRINCE FROM MARY’S COURT” will be open to visitors even after the New Year holidays, and lovers of music, history and culture are invited to visit this unique exhibition that preserves the memory of one of the most important musicians of the former Yugoslavia.
