Donor evening of the University Handball Club Zrinjski Mostar entitled “Evening of Handball Nobles” was held on Tuesday night in the Summer Kwarf Ceremony “Radobolja” in Mostar.
The event is organized under the auspices of the President of the Croatian National Sabban, Dragan Covic, and gathered numerous former and current players, club members, and prominent representatives of the economic, sports, cultural and political life from Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia.

In a pleasant atmosphere, the importance of sports was discussed in the construction of community, strengthening the Croatian identity and promoting positive social values, with a special emphasis on handball, as a sport, and the entire region is recognized by HNS BiH.

Mayor of Mostar Mario Kordić He stated that he was proud of the results of the Zrinj Mostar’s handball club, emphasizing that the club has been through challenging periods in the last five years, but today it has grown into an example of valuable admiration.
He added that the City Administration, together with the City Council, changed the way of financing court sports, which enabled more stable action and that they have intensively invested in sports infrastructure.
He also announced the completion of the construction of two halls – in Kruševo and the Great City Hall – by the end of the mandate, as well as the support of the club with the University of Mostar and the opening of the Handmade campus, which should become one of the most modern in this part of Europe.
